Every single Soul is adding either good Karma or negative Karma to this life. And most people are not aware of doing this. And now that you are aware of doing this, what does this mean?
The fact of Life is this: The Law of Karma is the Law that God established for every living thing in Creation at the beginning of Creation. And, I mention this because we are all "reaching" for Truth, regardless of what kind of Karma we are collecting.
Christ said, or meant to say that every action one takes is recorded by ones MIND. And if that action is positive, then one has added to ones store of good Karma. If that action is negative, then one has added to ones store of negative Karma. As you sow, so shall you reap, that is the Law.
Can you ignore this fundamental Law of Life? Of course you can, and the majority of people in America ignore this Law every day. However, such people only "think" they are ignoring this Law. The accounting of this Law has nothing to due with ones brain, or what one thinks. It is ones MIND that keeps this accounting, and this accounting process is Absolute. And ones MIND is invisible to ones brain, so it isn't possible to "know" what I am talking about by thinking.
So, how does one come to learn about Karma? About the only way one learns about Karma early in life is if one is fortunately enough to be raised in a family that knows about this crucial element of Life. This would be a most fortunate bit of good Karma, that one no doubt earned in a previous life, or in one or more of ones lifetimes.
To grow ones Soul, or to mature as a Soul, ones Soul must accumulate what I refer to as CDKA&EU [Conscience, Discretion, Knowledge, Acceptance and Empathetic Understanding]. These are my names for the Virtues of Life. And ones Soul accumulates these by "completing" Karma. And this is accomplished over many, many lifetimes.
How does this square with the Christian notion that one only has one life to live? It doesn't of course, and the Christian notion is in error. Ones Soul has as many lifetimes as it needs to fulfill the Purpose of Life: Which is to achieve Wisdom.
